I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough that I feel compelled to share it. When I first walked into the store, I was immediately looked up and down by employees, yet no one greeted me. At first, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed perhaps greeting customers wasn't part of their culture or service style. As I continued browsing, employees repeatedly cut in front of me while I was looking at merchandise without so much as an "excuse me." It felt rude, but I tried not to read too much into it. What really stood out was what happened next. I overheard the same employee who had ignored me warmly greet a customer who had just walked in. As I continued shopping, I noticed employees checking in with other customers, asking if they were finding everything okay, engaging in conversation, and providing attentive service. Meanwhile, despite multiple employees making eye contact with me, not a single person acknowledged my presence. When I decided to leave, I paused near the entrance and watched another customer walk in. Just as I suspected, they were greeted immediately with a friendly smile and a warm "Welcome in!" As I walked out the door, not one employee said goodbye, thank you, or even acknowledged me. Instead, I received only stares from at least three employees. The most obvious difference between myself and the customers who were receiving warm, attentive service was that I am a woman of color and the customers being greeted and assisted were white. I cannot say with certainty what motivated the difference in treatment, but I can say that I felt unwelcome, ignored, and singled out throughout my visit. Regardless of the reason, every customer deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. As a result, I will no longer be spending my money here and will instead purchase their brands through other retailers where I have consistently received better customer service.
Purchased from their online site for the first time and I couldn’t be more pleased. The item arrived in two business days and shipping is over 50. I will definitely be purchasing from them again. I like the designers and the products that they carry, and I had a pleasant first experience.
This store is heaven! Curated to perfection. A SA at a store across the street recommended it to me. When I walked in, I was oddly comfortable because if I ever built a boutique, this would be my vision. The brands are perfection. The SAs are all gorgeous. You would think they’d have attitudes. Nope. They were the sweetest and so helpful. This will be my go to for every visit. I’m obsessed. I read another review that said it reminded them of a NY or LA boutique and that is the best way to describe it.
Get your gifts for your wife / lady friend here! The salespeople are great. They are able to set me up with the right gift in a flash. I took in a few buds and they quickly got us each the right gift.
This is Mom's favorite store to visit in Park City. We stop by every time we are in town. The Cake Boutique really has a nice mix of makeup, perfume, and women's clothing. A great store to shop at!
