Updating my review to reflect the respect Hilton brand deserves for being bootlicking trash. We will never be back. We had a bad experience with an AirBnb in town and had to find alternative lodging for us and our two dogs at 1am on a holiday weekend. The folks at this hotel were so warm and welcoming, and they totally saved our vacation! We loved the very walkable neighborhood with plenty of coffee shops, restaurants, and a grocery store nearby. We are so thankful and are planning to return next year.
This place is a dumpster fire. They way overcharged us at check in and weren’t able to explain all the extra fees. I would not choose the room upgrade option at booking, this is what started this mess. Their advice was for me to meet with the hotel manager in the morning. Also the hot tub is broken and has been for over a year apparently. Our fridge in the room also did not work. For what they are charging for just a two night stay for this very outdated hotel, this is ridiculous. This place needs to shut down , get new management, renovate, or all three. Look elsewhere
This is no resort. It’s a bait & switch. First off, Sebastian was extremely rude at the front desk. No personality and bad English. The room smelled like sewer gas/mold. I think there was actually mold because we felt sick in the lungs our whole trip. Whole place is dark, dinky. Even the free cookies were stale. Extra star added because it’s in a good location. All the more reason to put a nicer resort in this spot, the Yarrow is not a nice one at all. Audra at the front appears gruff but was actually quite friendly when we told her our issues. She took 20% off our stay. It’s appreciated. Nobody else would have.
The rooms are just ok. First room we were assigned smelled like bad septic/plumbing. We were reassigned promptly and no issues with that room. The service in the restaurant is excellent and front desk is The food is mediocre. Shout out to the bartender and breakfast servers. Overall great stay and would def come back.
Unfortunately, wasn’t a great stay. This place need a major re-do— it’s dated, dim, and has a confusing layout. Mayra in the restaurant was an extremely rude server. The food was nasty and she wasn’t accommodating with my allergy. The worst was Sebastian when we talk to him he lie about the room we were getting, and got very defensive. Here’s the best thing : her name Audrey or Audra , and Mike the manager. Very nice people. They were helpful when I needed to check-out, Audra even gave me the money back for a nights stay. Also, nice location. Beautiful to see the snow fall, and grocery store is close. But I won’t return
