We stayed for a weekend trip with 7 families a totaling around 14 parents and 19 kids from all over the US - and I don’t think we could have found a better spot. The rooms were spacious and the pool area was incredible, with ample grills, tables, fire pits, and chairs for everyone. We LOVED the kids' activities. We had the best time doing karaoke, making arrowhead necklaces, playing pool, eating snow cones, making beaded buddy bracelets, roasting s’mores, and probably a few more things I’m forgetting! Our kids ranged from ages 4 to 15, and there was plenty to keep all of them entertained. The athletes in our group loved using the gym, and the little kids really enjoyed movie night. The activity lounge even had the World Cup on for when we needed to escape the unexpected rainstorms. I also really appreciated how easily accessible all of the grill and s’mores equipment was. AND - small but mighty - what a huge convenience that you guys had sunscreen and aloe out and available for everyone. We were caught off guard by how quickly we burned in the high-altitude sun, so it was super handy to have that right there. The front desk, concierge, housekeeping, and activities teams were on top of everything. It genuinely was such a special stay. The focus of our trip was simply to spend time together, and this resort made that seamless. From booking and check-in to the stay and check-out, it was all great. 5 stars, absolutely would recommend!

If you are a regular Marriott Bonvoy traveler, be aware that this property operates very differently from a normal Marriott hotel — and not in a good way. This is essentially a Marriott Vacation Club timeshare property, and the experience makes it feel like non-timeshare guests are an afterthought. Marriott sends a “know before you go” email warning you that many standard Bonvoy benefits do not apply here, but even that disclosure is incomplete. The property lacks many of the amenities travelers reasonably expect at a vacation resort: no breakfast, no restaurant, no bar, and very limited on-property services or activities for guests who simply want to relax at the resort. For a place marketed as a vacation destination, the lack of basic hospitality amenities is striking — especially during the summer season when many guests are not here to ski and may expect more of a resort experience. Had Marriott been more transparent about the true nature of the property, I would not have booked here. The experience also left me with a very negative impression of the Marriott Vacation Club concept overall. The location is good, but beyond that, this did not feel like a welcoming Marriott experience.

We did a staycation on 5/12/26 overnight. When we got to our room, there an odd smell (almost like fried grease). There was also a large cobweb hanging from the ceiling. We had a king size bed and an adjacent room with fireplace. Be aware that the fireplace is actually not in the bedroom (was a bit deceiving when booking on hotels.com “room with a fireplace”). Also, this is a time share, not a hotel - is a stove, dishwasher, and full size fridge. There was an oversized bathtub and a nice shower in the bathroom too, was impressed with that. Parking was $30 a night, which seemed expensive. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. It was decent, but overall walked away feeling pretty “meh” about it all spending ~$300 for the night.

We stayed here for a one-night getaway to celebrate our 20th anniversary, hoping for a relaxing escape from the Salt Lake Valley, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several ways. At check-in, we asked if any upgrades were available and the gentleman checking us in told we were already in the best room because it had a view of the mountain and pool. However, we were initially checked into the wrong room due to a mix-up about the length of our stay—possibly because we shared the same last name as another family. During our stay, we had to call maintenance twice because the refrigerator was not working. We also received a parking violation because the permit on our dashboard wasn’t visible through our vehicle’s tint strip—something that could have been handled more reasonably. Provide tape to temporarily fix to windshield? Register license plates of registered guests? The biggest issue was the noise. We were placed in an adjoining room next to a loud family with a baby, and the connecting door between the rooms did little to block sound. We could hear everything—every conversation and every cry. I woke up multiple times throughout the night, and by 6:30am, the noise made it impossible to sleep any longer. When we brought these concerns to the front desk, along with the parking issue, we were told we should have requested a quiet room. This was disappointing, especially since we had already asked about upgrades and were willing to pay more to ensure a better experience. It felt like our concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. The location itself is nice, but due to the service, noise, and overall experience, we will not be returning. Be sure to specially ask for a quiet room, apparently you’re not going to get one otherwise.

The photos can't really give this place justice for how beautiful it is. The hot tubs and pools are incredible. They're all a little different temperature. We were swimming in a heavy snow storm. It was kind of cool. Even the pool felt plenty warm, though. The room had vaulted ceilings, a big garden tub, as well as separate shower and bathroom area that had a separate door. The gym has dry and wet saunas, locker rooms, and a lot of equipment. We also enjoyed the game room with my 14 year old and there is a movie theater that plays 3 movies a day.
