We stayed at Park Regency Resort from July 11–18 while attending appointments at a medical facility directly across the street. The location was very convenient, with several restaurants and an excellent grocery store within walking distance. Awesome walking trails to town. The resort is dated, which we didn’t mind, but our first room never cooled properly. Even after the A/C ran all day, it was still about 77° the next morning and quickly heated up again. Tim in maintenance was outstanding and quickly moved us to a much better room with a working A/C, a more updated kitchen and bathroom, and a more comfortable bed. The units definitely vary, so I’d recommend checking your room before unpacking. The biggest disappointment was the Wi-Fi. It was extremely slow and unreliable. We even brought our own Fire Stick, but streaming was frustrating because the internet couldn’t keep up.The pool was nice, housekeeping was good, and the kitchen was well-equipped. Overall, the location was the biggest advantage. If the A/C and Wi-Fi issues were resolved, we would consider staying here again—but we’d definitely check our room before settling in.

The Park Regency Resort is a completely adequate place to stay in Park City. The location is good, close to most everything in this small town. Parking is specific and limited but adequate. Rooms are small but clean and efficient and have at least the minimum amenities including pluses like a full refrigerator, stove and dishwasher. Extras such as enclosed swimming pool and hot tub seemed nice and always had kids (and parents with them) using it. Outdoor bbqs seemed popular and clean.,Employees try to be helpful and are very polite. So why not a 5 star rating? Poor information about television usage, only wood burning fireplaces where gas would be better, and the big negative - pathetic WiFi. Whatever they need to do to increase the strength of the WiFi should be done immediately. Would we stay here again? Yes. Would we still be annoyed about the WiFi if not improved? Absolutely. Anybody who travels as we do understands why good WiFi is important, especially in areas like Park City where you can’t count in good cell coverage.

Beautiful place, perfect location, a little bit away from the the Olympic Village craziness, but ideally situated across from the skiing hills. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable, and my teen boys shared a sofa sleeper with no problems. This also is bookable through an RCI timeshare membership, so keep it in mind if traveling to the Salt Lake City area. It's about 40 mins away from the City, and at about 7,000 ft, so beautiful mountain views all around, and amazing sunsets!

Compliments: The staff were friendly and helpful. It's right on the bus line, which made it easy to get to Old Main Street to spend the day without having to worry about parking. The room was clean and comfortable enough. Complaints: If there was Wi-Fi available for guests, no information was given about how to access it. Cell phone reception inside the room was not great. The doors could use a spring-loaded closure so that other guests aren't slamming doors. It was so bad with the guests across the hall that I had to go ask them to stop slamming the door into their room. We tried to stream a movie in the evening after returning to our room, but it was constantly buffering and then it froze midway through the movie. We had to completely exit our streaming service and go back in to be able to finish it. The internet access, linked to the TV, was insufficient and terrible. Overall, this was more motel than hotel. I would not choose to stay here again.

If you’re coming here for the pool and hot tub don’t bother. They’ve changed the closing hour from 11 to 10, and on top of that a really rude guy walks in at 9:45 and tells you the pool is closed and to get out. Incredibly disappointing. The first night this happened it was 4 people (from 2 different parties) all reading books individually and not saying a word and the next time it happened it was 5 people (from 3 different parties) chatting so quietly we could hardly hear eachother. One hour of adults only time is simply not enough especially when it’s actually only 40/45 minutes bc of the dude who hates his job so much he’s trying to leave early. Do better park regency.
