I like this place so much that I don't want a bunch of people to learn about it and book it out, making it unavailable when I want to visit. With that said, I still owe them an honest review. The affordability, vibe, and location make it a perfect choice for adventurers seeking refuge with the benefits of communal lodging. Clean, free breakfast, kitchen for cooking, and space to store food.
Love this place! They were super accommodating, place is clean, well stocked, very relaxed chill and friendly people. And my room was absolutely SOUND PROOF., I was kinda shocked expecting some noise but nope, quiet as possible. Mory knows the place and the town!!
Excellent hostel! There’s a great common space with couches a pool table and kitchen. All the facilities were well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were easily the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen in any hostel. Staff were very helpful and have good knowledge of the area. There’s social events every night of the week; so it’s. A great place to meet other travelers.
I stayed here last year around the same time and had a great experience, which is why I returned. Overall, I still think this hostel offers good value for the price, and the private rooms are nice. The location is excellent, especially if you’re skiing — it’s easy to get on the bus to Deer Valley and other resorts. Some staff members were also friendly and helpful. That said, this stay was more disappointing than last year due to cleanliness in the shared spaces. The kitchen and common areas were often quite dirty, with dishes left in the sink for long periods and strong food smells lingering downstairs. The bathrooms on my floor were missing paper towels for days and didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly — there was visible hair in the showers the entire time. I did raise these issues with staff. While some team members were responsive, two staff members I spoke to (who were wearing Deer Valley uniforms) consistently ignored requests to restock paper towels and address basic cleaning concerns, which was frustrating. I think this place could improve a lot with clearer rules for guests at check-in around keeping shared spaces clean, as well as a more visible or consistent cleaning schedule for common areas and bathrooms. Overall, it’s still a good budget-friendly option in a great location, but standards around shared spaces seem to have dropped since last year, and that really impacted the experience this time.
Park City Hostel is the kind of place you stay at once and keep coming back to for the rest of your life. I spent the entire summer there and can’t wait to return. The staff is amazing, the location couldn’t be better, and there are beautiful hikes nearby. I met incredible team members and guests from all over the world. The main area of the hostel is fantastic, and the kitchen is professionally equipped, making everyone’s life easier. The hostel also hosts great events like bar crawls and movie nights. Amazing!!!! Don’t think twice stay at Park City Hostel!!!! I can’t wait to be back!!! :)
