Park City Hostel is the perfect starting point for a great adventure in Park City. What I love about this hostel is that you meet friends forever. Great experiences! (Ski / Ride) alone, with a buddy or a group happens here. Free classy bus system that’s easy to get to the market and mountain non stop PC Village/ Main Street or Deer Valley; Canyons is one more easy bus. Great community stay with shared rooms and private, stayed numerous times. Hot water, coffee, tea, pool table, board games and puzzles. Secure, safe storage of gear. Follow the reasonable rules here and you’ll have a blast! There’s almost always someone around who wants to go out to dinner. Nick and Morrison are great hosts as any issues that arrived were addressed and rectified nearly on the spot.
The most incredible hostel ever. The entire staff is so kind and always so welcoming. Morrie, Best, Nick, Jack, Ky, and all the other staff are so lovely. I always have the most amazing time when I stay. The rooms are so nice and clean. The common place area is so well kept and it’s so easy to make friends. Thank you guys always for the incredible hospitality! Can’t recommend enough.
I like this place so much that I don't want a bunch of people to learn about it and book it out, making it unavailable when I want to visit. With that said, I still owe them an honest review. The affordability, vibe, and location make it a perfect choice for adventurers seeking refuge with the benefits of communal lodging. Clean, free breakfast, kitchen for cooking, and space to store food.
Excellent hostel! There’s a great common space with couches a pool table and kitchen. All the facilities were well maintained and clean. The bathrooms were easily the nicest bathrooms I’ve seen in any hostel. Staff were very helpful and have good knowledge of the area. There’s social events every night of the week; so it’s. A great place to meet other travelers.
I stayed here last year around the same time and had a great experience, which is why I returned. Overall, I still think this hostel offers good value for the price, and the private rooms are nice. The location is excellent, especially if you’re skiing — it’s easy to get on the bus to Deer Valley and other resorts. Some staff members were also friendly and helpful. That said, this stay was more disappointing than last year due to cleanliness in the shared spaces. The kitchen and common areas were often quite dirty, with dishes left in the sink for long periods and strong food smells lingering downstairs. The bathrooms on my floor were missing paper towels for days and didn’t appear to be cleaned regularly — there was visible hair in the showers the entire time. I did raise these issues with staff. While some team members were responsive, two staff members I spoke to (who were wearing Deer Valley uniforms) consistently ignored requests to restock paper towels and address basic cleaning concerns, which was frustrating. I think this place could improve a lot with clearer rules for guests at check-in around keeping shared spaces clean, as well as a more visible or consistent cleaning schedule for common areas and bathrooms. Overall, it’s still a good budget-friendly option in a great location, but standards around shared spaces seem to have dropped since last year, and that really impacted the experience this time.
