I really wanted to like this place. It is super local and authentic. The staff don’t speak English and I am fine with that - it lends to the feeling of authenticity - the food is the key. It caters to the huge number of building laborers in Park City - I’m really glad they have a place like this for lunch - there is also a Hayana’s Hispanic Gourmet Market next door and it is really nice - great selection and well laid out. There is an English menu - but it is not descriptive and easy to make a mistake - I ordered my understanding of Birria Tacos - and got two basic beef tacos - no broth or cheese - I was told that I needed to order Birria Quesa to get the same dish I ordered at other Mexican restaurants in Park City and NYC. The food is good and hot. It is not Tex-Mex or Chipotle - no guacamole, salsa, or sour cream. If you can speak Spanish you might have a better experience than I did navigating the menu. For Park City - I prefer El Chubasco and Borders Food Truck.
Really bad service. The people are really rude When I tell them, please no guacamole I Ask them nicely they still put guacamole. I said excuse me no guacamole they tell me sorry we can’t replace it really really rude. They always have a bad attitude. I highly not recommend spending your money here
I have eaten here several times. The chicken tacos are so delicious and juicy. I got four and was stuffed after two. I live in Glenwild and love my new neighborhood go to place! I want the staff to be a little bit more inviting. Please wipe down the tables better. I want to see this place succeed - The food and the atmosphere are great.
The flavor on these tacos is nothing special, not very different from other taco locations. The asada meat was undercooked and the Al pastor tacos were too salty. The prices were a bit higher than other places, but they are the only restaurant in the area. Only three people working, so it took them a while to even say hi, they were busy talking about weekend plans. The restaurant is fairly new so the facility is in great condition, but they still need blinds on the windows. The sun was hitting my face the whole time I was eating. This restaurant has potential but it needs work.
Food: the cabeza was great and the tripa tasted great but the tripa came with a full plate of oil. I understand it’s tripas but I had two good puddles of oil soaking the tortilla. Service: Really bad, no customer service. Atmosphere: no Mexican vibes like music. Just silence.
