I never write reviews, but our stay here was absolutely perfect. The suite offered beautiful views and was styled with luxurious art and furnishings. A special thank you to Sage and the entire staff, who went above and beyond to make our mom’s birthday an unforgettable experience. Everything about our stay was outstanding, especially the incredible food. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hyatt! We stayed at a private residence Airbnb and thoroughly enjoyed our place. It was well equipped and spacious. The pool was heated and large with several hot tubs. The breakfast buffet was expansive with made to order omelettes, yogurt parfaits, fresh juice, bagels, potatoes, etc. The gym was well equipped including a Peloton and offered cold infused towels. The lobby overlooks this beautiful scenery and landscape near the 24/7 fire pit which is so peaceful to hang out around at all times of day. There was some construction behind the hotel which was slightly inconvenient but overall minimal to the experience. The staff was all attentive and helped us arrange our plans for some last minute sightseeing and the best way to get there and enjoy our limited time there.

Unfortunately, we only stayed here for one night, as we were flying back home the following day. We really wish we could have stayed longer! Upon arrival, it turned out that our reservation through Booking.com had not come through properly. However, the staff went above and beyond to resolve the issue as quickly and smoothly as possible. A special thank you to the receptionist, concierge, and managing director for their excellent service and genuine hospitality. The hotel itself is spacious, modern, and has fantastic facilities, including a beautiful swimming pool and a very well-equipped gym. Our room was wonderful as well. And finally, a proper walk-in shower instead of having to stand in a bathtub! At 1.90 m tall, I especially appreciated being able to comfortably stand under the shower. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic. Rather than a standard buffet, the dishes were freshly prepared in the kitchen, which made the experience feel much more special. After three weeks of travelling around Canada and the US, we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better place to end our trip. A wonderful hotel with excellent facilities, great food, and above all, outstanding service. We would definitely stay here again!

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well maintained. We stayed in one of the residence-style units with separate bedrooms and a full kitchen, and the accommodations themselves were beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. We stayed here for a few days specifically to relax before heading home from another vacation. Our plan was to enjoy the pool, book a spa treatment, and simply unwind. Instead, we were surrounded by construction on literally every side of the property. No joke, there are buildings going up on every side of the hotel but the front of the property. Our room overlooked an active construction site with workers directly across from our windows. We had to keep the curtains closed for privacy, so there was no mountain view or scenery to enjoy. The balcony was unusable. Every single morning we were woken by construction noise. Dumpsters were being slammed, workers were yelling back and forth, and a jackhammer started up early enough to make sleeping or relaxing impossible. It was LOUD. It completely defeated the purpose of staying at what is marketed as a luxury resort. To make matters worse, the spa was also under construction, eliminating another reason we chose this property. Because of the construction, there was no self parking available so every day we had to struggle with the valet as well as pay $50 a night. Between the noise, the lack of any usable view, and the closed spa, the experience was nothing like what was advertised. I understand that construction happens, and I don’t necessarily blame the hotel for that. What I do blame them for is how they handled our concerns. This location was not clearly presented to us. The construction is not just a minor inconvenience and I’m frankly surprised that they would place anyone in rooms so close to the chaos. That was a bad move on their part. We spoke with the hotel during our stay and were completely ignored. Had someone simply apologized or recognized that our stay was far from what we expected, that would have gone a long way. Instead, we were left feeling like our concerns didn’t matter at all. There are plenty of other places to stay in the area. Until the construction is finished, I cannot recommend this property if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. The lack of customer service after the fact was just as disappointing as the construction itself. Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this Hyatt or staying at any Hyatt property in the future.

We just wrapped up a 6-night stay at the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley and while our first couple of days had some hiccups, the way the team responded turned this into a trip we'll remember for all the right reasons. To be transparent: we ran into some early frustrations around check-in communication, breakfast credit confusion, and restaurant hours not matching the posted information. But once we raised these concerns, General Manager Nate Hardesty and his team — especially Shelbie — went above and beyond. That kind of accountability and genuine care is rare, and it said a lot about the culture this property is building. From there, the stay was outstanding. The pool was a highlight for our whole family, and the location made it effortless to shuttle into downtown Park City for dinners and exploring. The surrounding activities kept us busy every day. Food quality across the property was consistently excellen; every meal felt elevated. The real star, though, was the playroom at Camp Hyatt. Our girls had an amazing time and it gave us some moments to relax as parents, too. We came in as Globalist members with high expectations, and while the start was bumpy, the way the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley leadership listened, responded, and followed through made all the difference. We're already looking forward to coming back and recommending it to friends and family.
