the pendry offered abundant natural views, great service, and a phenomenal room. since we booked through amex, we got upgraded to a huge room that was incredible in terms of size, view, and amenities. the whole complex still felt somewhat unfinished, and the pool on the rooftop could be refined a bit (e.g. many more lay-flat chairs). all the food we had on-site was excellent. the sushi was some of the best i’ve had (and we live in LA) and all the pool-side food was fresh and tasty (great burger). the only thing was that while it presents as a fancy hotel, it still felt a bit rough around the edges in regard to the pool vibe and especially the restaurant in the lobby. and also: the room service was absurdly expensive. overall, we had a very nice time here!
We travel A LOT! Pendry has raised the bar! Sadly, travel only allowed a 1-night stay, but Jay and the front desk made our stay extra special. Accommodations unlike any other we've had, views for miles, excellent food and such personable servers (Jacob!). Can't wait to return! PS-- MONTY, the new mascot in training is reason enough to return!! THE CUTEST!
We recently stayed at the Pendry to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday. The property itself is beautiful. The grounds are stunning, well-maintained, and exceptionally clean. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. That said, there were several disappointments that impacted the overall experience. I was surprised that full payment for our stay was required a week before check-in. Additionally, many of the restaurants on the property were closed during our mid-week visit, making dining options extremely limited. We ended up relying on room service one evening and paid nearly $50 for an order of wings, including a 26% service charge. We also found ourselves DoorDashing meals to the hotel when we weren’t out exploring Park City. Several amenities we were looking forward to were unavailable during our stay. The gondola was out of service, the spa did not reopen until the day of our departure, and the rooftop pool, while beautiful, had no food service available. We were interested in booking a spa treatment before leaving but our request for a late checkout was not accommodated. We also discovered upon arrival that our room fireplace was not working and maintenance had to come shortly after check-in to repair it. Despite these issues, the hotel did a wonderful job recognizing my fiancé’s birthday with a surprise cake, candle, and bottle of champagne in our room. It was a thoughtful gesture that we genuinely appreciated. Overall, the property is gorgeous and the staff was great, but the limited dining options and unavailable amenities made it difficult to fully enjoy the resort experience we expected.
We really enjoyed this hotel. We came here in May during the shoulder season, so it was kind of quiet but the rooms were great, very clean, staff was friendly and helpful (even the valet workers) and our room had a wonderful view of the mountains. We liked the location tucked in the mountains here and you can even rent Park City bikes nearby and bike to the downtown area. I would stay here again
The rooms are great, and overall service was very good. We were told there were no upgrades available due to full capacity, which is completely understandable. However, it would have been appreciated if the hotel had checked with us before placing couples next to the loud pool party area. My rating is mainly affected by the noise from the pool and the rushed feeling at breakfast due to staff. Otherwise, the rooms and service were excellent.
