I recently celebrated a friend’s birthday at 7880 Club, and it reminded me that some of Park City’s best dining experiences aren’t necessarily on Main Street. The restaurant that combines elevated cuisine, exceptional mountain views, and elevated atmosphere. 7880 Club feels intimate and refined while still feeling approachable. The floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Deer Valley create an incredible backdrop, especially as the sun begins to set. The setting alone makes it feel like a special occasion and also like you’re in on a hidden secret. Every dish arrived beautifully composed, but more importantly, the flavors lived up to the presentation. As someone who works in the hospitality and events industry, I pay attention to the details beyond the food. The pacing of the meal was comfortable, the service felt genuinely warm, and the overall experience encouraged conversation instead of rushing guests through dinner. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner, celebrating a special occasion, romantic date night or buy out for private event in Park City - 7880 Club deserves a spot on your list!
A High Altitude Sanctuary There is a profound alchemy in stepping out of the biting chill of a Deer Valley night and into the glowing embrace of the 7880 Club. The transition is marked not just by the hypnotic crackle of the hearth, but by a smile from the staff so genuinely warm it begins to thaw you before you’ve even removed your coat. You must begin, as we did, with the Manhattan. It arrives as a perfect amber jewel, an expertly calibrated balance of bite and velvet that sends a reassuring, spirited heat right down to your toes. The kitchen here intimately understands the deep, primal cravings born of cold mountain air. The Brussels sprouts are transformed into something spectacular—aggressively charred and crackling at the edges, yet impossibly tender and sweet within. And then, the hamburger. In a room of such modern elegance, you might overlook it, but that would be a mistake. It is a masterclass in unabashed comfort: a profoundly savory, unctuous, and deeply satisfying bite that feels less like a simple sandwich and more like a culinary reward. It wasn’t just a great meal; it was a sanctuary. The 7880 Club is exactly where you want to be when the winter wind howls outside.
We visited 7880 for the last day of the dine-around lunch and were very impressed with the service (Dejuan), quality of food, and value. Located in the Stein Residences, they offer complimentary valet parking or you can ski to it during winter! The ambiance and views were fantastic; I would definitely return outside of a special menu.
A Culinary Gem in Deer Valley Perched within the stunning Stein Eriksen Residences in Deer Valley, the 7880 Club offers a dining experience that beautifully marries breathtaking views with exceptional cuisine. As I entered, the panoramic mountain vistas captivated me, setting a breathtaking backdrop for our evening. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy, making it perfect for both special occasions and casual gatherings. We began our meal with the shrimp and corn fritters, which were nothing short of phenomenal. Each fritter was crispy on the outside and tender within, bursting with flavor and perfectly complemented by a zesty roulade sauce and smoked trout roe. Next, the mountain berry salad arrived, a colorful array of fresh greens and tart berries. The light dressing elevated the dish, allowing the ingredients’ natural flavors to shine through—refreshing and delightful. The highlight of the evening was the great range bison ribeye. Cooked to absolute perfection, it was rich, tender, and packed with flavor. The thoughtful accompaniments showcased seasonal vegetables, making each bite a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to local sourcing. For dessert, we indulged in the elderflower cheesecake and mango mojito bar. The cheesecake was creamy and subtly floral, while the mango mojito bar provided a vibrant, refreshing finish—a perfect balance of sweetness and tang. Throughout our meal, the service was impeccable. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, genuinely passionate about the dishes they served, which further enhanced the overall experience. In summary, the 7880 Club at Stein Eriksen Residences is a culinary destination not to be missed. With its stunning views, outstanding service, and a menu that highlights the best of local flavors, it promises an unforgettable dining experience in the heart of Deer Valley. Whether you’re a local or visiting, make sure to add this gem to your must-try list.
Had dinner this week at The 7880 Club and really enjoyed the ambiance, service and view. Clam Chowder was phenomenal. Ordered the Osso Bucco and it came out luke warm. I suspect they don’t make to order, and likely have on chaffing dishes or refire when ordered. Completely understandable, just wish it was warmer. I was able to send back and they brought out a warmer dish. Id still recommend this location and had a great time. The Old Fashioned was delicious, great desserts, appetizers were delish as well.
