Overall, I'm sure this is a nice place to eat under normal circumstances. However, we made a reservation and were not notified whatsoever that there would be a limited menu that night, so we had literally 3 entrees to pick from. When we told the waitress that we were not told about this, she said "well just come back tomorrow then." The waitress was very short with us and not courteous. The ambiance and decoration was good, the food was also good with a few issues-- there were 3 people in our party that ordered steak, and not a single one of the steaks was cooked correctly-- all were more done than asked for. My steak, which I ordered medium, was solidly well done. The potatoes and sides were excellent though, and the steak was very good considering it was well done. Dessert (cheesecake) was superb.
Went for Sunday brunch. My husband had the Scottish egg. He loved it, be warned, it is filling. I had the salmon on risotto. The risotto was a bit under cooked. Service was great though.
Highly recommend this restaurant! We keep going back to stay at the Blue Boar Inn because of the high quality food at the restaurant. Every dinner and breakfast meal has been unique with exceptional flavor. Amazed at the variety in dishes for a quaint bed and breakfast
We had a lovely breakfast at the Blue Boar Inn in Midway, Utah. The building is absolutely beautiful, both inside and out, and feels charming and inviting from the moment you arrive. The brunch menu is small but thoughtfully curated, and everything we had was delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere is cozy, relaxing, and full of great aesthetics. It’s perfect for a slow, enjoyable morning. A wonderful spot for a nice breakfast or brunch, and definitely worth a visit when you’re in Midway. We’ll be back to try their other menus soon!
Brunch at the Blue Boar Inn feels like stepping into a storybook. The setting is cozy, charming, and full of character—perfect for a relaxed morning or special outing. The brunch itself was delicious, with thoughtfully prepared dishes that felt both comforting and elevated. It’s a lovely spot to slow down, enjoy a beautiful atmosphere, and savor a memorable meal.
