The food at Yuta is really special. We went for dinner. I had a lobster tortellini dish that was so good I’m still dreaming about. Also, the cocktails were very good. The atmosphere is outstanding. The location is a little tricky to find but if I had known it was in the Lodge at Blue Sky it would’ve been easier to find. Dont miss this.

We ate here two nights in a row during our stay. Everything was on point. The food was delicious, creative and presented beautifully. If you’re staying at blue sky, don’t bother eating anywhere else.

I didn't like that they didn't ask me what kind of wine I liked before making a recommendation. How can they recommend something if they don't know what I like? This is supposed to be a classy place. They couldn't serve me regular water if I was drinking sparkling water.

Hacienda Night at Blue Sky (Yuta Restaurant) From the first bite of the warm chips, guac, and two vibrant salsas, I knew this dinner was going to be special—but I wasn’t prepared for just how extraordinary it would be. Every course was a sheer delight, each one better than the last: beautifully presented, simple, fresh, and crafted with such intention that every bite genuinely silenced me. As a vegetarian, I was blown away. My “pork chicharrón” course became an incredible cheese gordita—rich, flavorful, and deeply satisfying. The vegetarian version of the beef skirt steak course—tacos filled with potato, carrot, mushrooms, cheese, and more—was its own masterpiece. The cactus salad with cream was bright and refreshing, the green salad crisp and clean, and the strawberries and cream dessert was the perfect finale. What truly set the night apart was how over-the-top accommodating the staff and kitchen were. They didn’t just substitute ingredients—they created a full parallel menu just for me, with real care and creativity. The ambiance was amazing—warm, inviting, and elevated—and the staff were extremely kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the night unforgettable. Overall, the experience was magical. And for the price, it feels extremely undervalued. A once-in-a-lifetime dining event that everyone—especially vegetarians—can fully enjoy. Unforgettable from start to finish.

Stepping into The Lodge at Blue Sky and its signature restaurant, Yuta, feels like entering a sanctuary of rustic elegance. The warm, inviting atmosphere greets you immediately, whether you’re enjoying a cozy moment by the roaring fireplace or perusing their bar’s impressive whiskey collection while waiting for your table. As dinner begins, you’re guided into a beautifully designed dining room, where seasonal, locally inspired décor sets the perfect mood. The ambiance is quintessential mountain lodge—warm, intimate, and effortlessly sophisticated. The service is impeccable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who elevate the experience by walking you through their extensive offerings. The drink and wine menu is a standout—a remarkable 78-page collection featuring a diverse range of wines at various price points. The staff’s thoughtful recommendations help tailor the experience to your tastes. The seasonal menu is equally impressive, offering dishes that are as visually stunning as they are flavorful. Standouts include the tender elk chop, succulent lamb, and perfectly cooked sea bass—all beautifully prepared and bursting with seasonal flavors. For dessert, the chocolate mousse is a rich, decadent treat that strikes the perfect balance of indulgence, while the mango cake offers a refreshing and vibrant end to your meal. From the breathtaking interior design to the attentive service and unforgettable cuisine, Yuta at The Lodge at Blue Sky delivers a dining experience that’s both luxurious and approachable. This is a destination I’ll eagerly return to on my next visit to the area!
